Spring 2010 "President's List"

Usually I know exactly what grade I will receive in each course, but it was "touch-and-go" in two classes. This semester was very challenging mentally due to my having to deal with several issues, mainly the change that took place in the college of education where I stood to loose almost eighteen hours. But through it all with the help of God, I was able to make all A's. My courses this semester included BLY101, BLY101L, EDF315, EDF211, PE166, and SY112. I ended this semester with forty nine hours. This summer will be hard because I am taking MA110 and MA112. I pray that I will pass these two classes.

Honor Societies

I'm very proud to announce that I will be inducted into Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society on March 31, 2010 and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars in October - 2010 at the University of South Alabama. When I began South last Spring (January-2010)as a freshman majoring in elementary education,I promised God and myself that I would do the best that I could. Last year, I earned 36 credit hours by taking four classes (12 hours)per semester,which by the way included Spring,Summer,and Fall. I am presently a sophomore, taking fourteen hours this semester, and my accumulative grade point average is 3.92. I'm proof that you are never to old to go back to school. I'm getting it done at 45.

Fall 2009 "President's List"

I'm proud to say that after much hard work, I made the President's List this semester. The courses I took included EH102, HY102, SY109, and SPE400. To say that I'm proud of myself is an understatement. I'm giving it my all to make sure I'm successful in all my endeavors.

Summer 2009 "Dean's List"

The summer semester was very fast paced, but I made it. I'm proud to say that I made the "Dean's List" with a 3.75 GPA (A,A,A,B). Of the four courses I took this summer, EPY251, HS262, PE100, and EEC300, I found EEC300, which is Classroom Management, to be the most informative as well as enjoyable. I'm very excited about beginning my teaching career.
My experiences here at South have peen very positive and productive during my short time. I look forward to future and the challenges it will bring.

Spring 2009 "President's List"

I'm very proud to announce that my first semester (Spring 2009) at the University of South Alabama was a success, with my making four A's and the President's List. Returning to college after nearly twenty two years had me somewhat apprehensive, thinking maybe I didn't have what it would take to succeed. I thought I had make a mistake taking on a full time load(EH 101, HY 101, CA 110, and EDM 310), but I soon realized I was up for the challenge. I hope to continue making good grades, even if they are not all A's. As long as I do the best that I can do, giving it my all, I'll be okay.
